I have been editing and critiquing manuscripts for years and know how to tighten your work,
give you suggestions for alternate sentence structures, character development, word choices, and how to give your piece more
punch and pizzazz. I will help you create a manuscript you can confidently present to agents and publishers.
My fees depend on the size of the work and how much editing is required. Obviously, first drafts take more time and will
cost more.
When editing a manuscript, my goal is to send back at least two chapters to you per week, edited and ready for your rewrite.
I can do more depending on the other projects and clients I have going. For an extra fee I can have many projects
edited within 24 to 48 hours.
I'm available for phone consultation. As an editor to writers, I've found oftentimes it's better for the writer to be able
to talk through the weak areas or plot lines they are struggling with. I can be a sounding board to help you create the story
that you are trying to put on paper.
I prefer reading work that doesn't have graphic sex, profanity, positive drug use, or abuse of any kind.
I am a voracious reader and have knowledge of a great many subjects, but am not able as an editor to do research or verify
the research or facts in your manuscript.
