This list is not everything I'm prepared and able to edit, but it is what I'm
usually asked to edit and have gotten numerous kudos for:
- Children's Books--picture books, middle grade, young adult, chapter books, tween
novels, board books (for toddlers), books for emergent readers
- Women's Lit (if there isn't any graphic sex)
- Memoirs
- Self-help books
- Christian Lit
- New Age books
- Anything with animals--animal behavior, stories with pets and other animals in
them
- Historical novels
- Poetry
- Screenplays
- Horse stories (one of my faves!)
- Letters, term papers, theses, dissertations, letters to apply for jobs, other business
documents

Here's what I DO NOT Edit:
-
Erotica
-
Graphic sex, violence, drug use, profanity--basically if it was a movie, it'd be rated
R
-
Anything that is obviously pro-Republican (I can't stay unbiased, and am honest enough
to admit it)
-
Anything that is racist, sexist, objectifies people in general and women and children
specifically
-
Anything that has murder or killing in it that is gratuitous.
There are editing services out there that do this stuff. Look them up, they'll
be way more helpful than I could be.
